I've edited the fighting photos down to 300 - I should have them post processed within a few days. And yes, there are pix of EVERYBODY looking AWESOME. :-D
Yeah I noticed that on a Mac too, I have a new version of the gallery almost ready to publish with cool new features like hit counts and comments. I'll fix up the menu too. How you like the fancy non-flash image rotation on the front page? -THL Achilles of Sparta, Orkney IV
Esmerelda takes some beatiful photos. I was wondering if it might be possible to maybe get soem of those photos printed out on photo paper. Only the Strong survive, when the dust clears.
What kind of camera and equipment do you use? Canon 300 D Digital Rebel
Manfrotto 682B monopod
Lenses:
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L (this is the lens I shoot with at most events these days…it’s the long grey one)
Canon EFS 17-55mm f/2.8 IS (the latest overly extravagant gift from my beloved husband)
Sigma EX APO DG 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6, yet another “I’m not worthy!” gift from my incredible husband. I use this lens infrequently due to its size and weight (the lens weighs over 3.5 pounds). I have nerve damage in my right elbow which limits my use of this lens at events (it’s much better suited for wildlife photography and the like). While I have used a monopod on occasion to compensate for the weight, I find that I generally move around too much and too quickly, even for a monopod.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Canon 77mm 500D Close-up lens
Canon 18-55mm “kit lens” (which came with the camera – now superseded by the Canon EFS 17-55mm)
Tamron 1.4X SP AF Tele-converter
Canon 70-300mm Since retired in favour of the 70-200 f/4 and the 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6. I loved this lens and used it for years but it is a lower quality glass and the images shot with it are much too soft. Nonetheless, a lot of my film stuff and early digital was shot with this lens.
