Well guys, here it is, my interpretation of an SCA legal version of the helm from the movie 300. Made with a 12 gauge steel top and 13 gauge steel sides it was labor intensive to make.

Stand outside an IMAX showing of the 300 with it when the people get out of the movie, they will throw money at you :) -THL Achilles of Sparta, Orkney IV
Aside from nates insateable need to blacken every piece of beautiful armour, I must say that is one bitchin helm. I would concider buying that one. Only the Strong survive, when the dust clears.
RAD! How much? "Men are haunted by the vastness of eternity and so we ask ourselves… Will our actions echo across the centuries? Will strangers hear our names, long after we are gone and wonder who we were, how bravely we fought, how fiercely we loved?" -From the movie "Troy"
"Orkneys never ask how many, only where they are!"
well something tells me brand is probably gonna market this helm for something like 650 maybe 700 dollars. Only the Strong survive, when the dust clears.
This one is mild steel, 12 gauge top, 13 gauge sides and was more work than a corinthian. This one is $500. Future ones will probably be $500 in steel and $700 in stainles. Brand Armond of Lancaster Count, Knight
